You’re probably wondering why on earth we are dedicating our blog to desserts. They have nothing to do with the guests we feature on our show. The truth of the matter is, you’re right. The only reason why we started The Orlando Dessert Project is because, well… if there’s one thing we love here at Orlando Water Hole aside from our guests it’s… dessert.

The Orlando Downtown Food and Wine Fest, now in it’s 7th year, is coming to Lake Eola on Saturday and Sunday February 21st and 22nd, 2015. Tapas-style plates from Orlando’s top restaurants, live musical entertainment and barrels of wine come together for this weekend-long celebration of Orlando’s Culinary Scene. We spent some time with Nick Smith, Integrated Marketing Director for CBS Radio, (the organizer of the event) to learn more about the event. Nick shares with us:
